Registration for the 24th Annual Army Ten-Miler

Attention Runners! 2008 Race Date is 5-Oct - the 24th edition of the Army Ten-Miler will be conducted this year on 5-Oct-08 at 0800 in Washington, DC at the Pentagon. Join over 26,000 runners from around the world for America's largest 10-mile race - an event not to be missed!


Registration Opens 1-Apr-08 - The early registration fee is $47. After June 30th, the fee goes up to $55. For online registration and information visit www.armytenmiler.com.

2008 Race Improvements - after every race we conduct a runner survey, focus groups, and a thorough internal review. Through this process we identify lessons learned and key improvements for future races. Below are some of the 2008 race improvements we are planning:
« Enforce seeding corrals for each wave start and a 15-minute mile
pace along the course
« Expand Pentagon Finish Area to alleviate overcrowding
« Improve water point training and position water trucks at every
water point
« Expand Packet Pick-Up hours on Friday and do a better job of
telling runners about off-peak hours
« Ensure race results are posted online by 7PM on Race Day
